How to Make a Light-Up Holiday Card

Get ready to light up your cards—literally! In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a magical light-up holiday card with stenciling, die cutting, and interactive twinkle lights.

If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at an interactive light-up card but didn’t know where to start, this project is for you! I’m joining in on a special collaboration hop between Hero Arts and Pear Blossom Press to create this snowy and sparkly card that lights up with the press of a button.

This card uses the Color Layering Star Stencils and Snowflake Star Die Set from Hero Arts, paired with Pear Blossom Press Twinkle Lights and shimmering vellum for that wow effect. I’ll walk you through the entire process step-by-step, from blending and die cutting to wiring and assembling.
