I first stamped the big mosaic pattern at the top and bottom of an A2 sized card panel. It’s a detailed stamp that sets the stage for our Nordic-inspired card. But here’s the twist: we’ll bring it to life using selective stenciling.
The coordinating stencils in the Nordic Wonderland Kit make selective stenciling so easy! They let us color in parts of the mosaic images. It’s like painting by numbers, but way cooler. You get to pick which parts you want to color, giving depth and dimension to the card. Remember, you can selectively stencil with any stencil. All you need is low-tack tape. Just place the tape on your stencil where you do not want to color!
Next up, we’ll introduce a fabulous fox stamp. This fox is a bit artsy itself, so no need for fancy shading. I used alcohol markers to color it, keeping things simple yet striking. To make our card pop, I placed the colorful fox right in the center using Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
Every card needs a heartfelt message, right? I added a heat-embossed sentiment on a blue cardstock strip to the card. I used the same blue cardstock for a border, creating a neat frame that fits the Nordic theme. A few small iridescent sequins add a hint of sparkle, making our Nordic Wonderland shine.
