The day has finally arrived, and I am so excited to share the My Monthly Hero December Kit! The December kit, available in two versions—the Classic Kit and the Premium Kit—promises an abundance of creative possibilities. The Classic Kit is packed with essentials, while the Premium Kit consists of everything in the Classic Kit plus additional items, expanding the potential for more cards and techniques. Card One

Now, let’s dive into the creative process behind my first card using the Classic Kit. I took the XL Alphabet Clear Stamp Set and stamped a cheerful “B is for BIRTHDAY” along with a set of balloons on an A2-sized card panel of watercolor paper. To add a personalized touch, I die-cut a ‘B’ from Watercolor Paper using the Alphabet Cover Plate Die. Using the Watercolor Pencils and Water Flow Brush, I colored a fun watercolor rainbow on the B. The stamped balloons also received the same rainbow hues. For the final touch I added foam tape to the die-cut ‘B,’ providing dimension and visual interest to the overall design.

Card Two

I opted for a sleek slimline design for my second card. I used several items add-on items to create the card. The Sparkling Fireworks Bold Prints background stamp set the stage, stamped onto the card base using Hero Core Ink in Granite. For the sentiment, I chose the Letter Fancy Dies to spell out ‘HAPPY,’ each letter cut from a different color of cardstock. To enhance the dimension, I glued two additional layers of each letter in white cardstock.

The arrangement of the letters on the slimline card base was intentionally staggered, creating a dynamic and playful look. Adding the final touch, I stamped the word ‘BIRTHDAY’ from the Message Basics stamp set just under the bottom of the ‘Y’ using Hero Arts Black Onyx Pigment Ink. Hero Pearls in Silver were dotted across the card for a touch of elegance, completing the celebratory design.
