For the Santa card, I started by cutting out the various die pieces from different colored cardstocks. Using shades of red, white, black, and a warm wheat color for the reindeer, I brought Santa and his reindeer to life. To add a touch of holiday sparkle, I used gold glitter cardstock for Santa’s belt buckle and the reindeer’s collar accents.
To give the die cuts more dimension, I used coordinating ink colors to softly blend around the edges. This simple step added depth to the pieces, making them pop against the background.
Santa’s face and nose were colored using Copic markers, adding a lifelike touch to our jolly friend. Once all the pieces were ready, I assembled Santa and his trusty reindeer.
For the card’s background, I used two nested frames cut from white and red cardstock, using the Notched Corner Frames Dies. These frames created an elegant backdrop for our festive duo.
With all the elements ready, I carefully assembled the card. Santa and his reindeer took center stage, spreading warmth and holiday cheer to anyone who lays eyes on them.

The process for the Snowman Hugs card followed a similar path. I used white cardstock for the large and small snowmen, each adorned with colorful scarves and carrot noses. Coordinating ink colors were used to gently color around these charming details.
To create the snowy backdrop, I used two nested frames cut from light blue and dark blue cardstock, using the Notched Corner Frames. This added a serene touch to the scene.
To amp up the cuteness of this card, I folded the larger snowman’s arm over the smaller one, creating the heartwarming illusion of a hug. A touch of magic was added by applying glue underneath the snowmen and dotting it around the card. A sprinkling of Distress Rock Candy Glitter gave the appearance of snowfall, making it look like the snowmen stood on a snow pile amidst a gentle snowstorm.
Crafting with Stampendous’ Santa Hugs and Snowman Hugs dies was a heartwarming adventure into the world of holiday cardmaking. These lovable characters, with their outstretched arms, embody the spirit of giving and warmth that the holiday season represents.
As you embark on your own crafting journey, remember that every card is an opportunity to spread joy and share a piece of your heart. Whether you’re crafting for loved ones or simply celebrating the magic of the season, may your creations bring smiles and warmth to those who receive them.
