Card Kit of the Month

This month’s Card Kit of the Month is an adorable collection of stamps, dies, and accessories to help you create the cutest Christmas cards.

Using the Card Kit of the Month, I crafted a whimsical holiday card that’s purrfectly festive!

I stamped and colored a playful cat peeking out of a present box, complete with vibrant red and white details that brought the scene to life. Using alcohol markers, I added warmth and texture to the cat’s fur, making it irresistibly cute. To create a seamless illusion, I carefully added a tiny bit of red alcohol ink under the paws, blending it perfectly with the present box.

Next, I crafted a cozy background by ink-blending the argyle knit stencil with Wet Cement Core Ink onto Dove White Cardstock. This subtle texture added depth and visual interest. I then stamped a heartfelt sentiment, “Happy Holidays,” in Intensified Black Ink towards the bottom right of the panel.

To add dimension, I popped up the cat and present box using foam tape, making them stand out against the argyle background. Finally, I sprinkled gold and champagne sequins around the card, injecting a touch of festive sparkle!

I also created a card using the November Layering Stencil of the Month.

To create this beautiful background, I ink-blended layers of Crimson and Pine Core Inks. Next, I applied White Hero Wax over the second layer of the stencil, adding a delicate, icy texture. Before the wax dried, I sprinkled icicle glitter on top. This added gorgeous sparkle, reminiscent of frosty mornings.

To complete the card, I heat-embossed a “Merry Christmas” sentiment in white embossing powder on Pine Cardstock, cutting it out with the coordinating die. I then popped up the sentiment towards the bottom right of the card front using foam tape, creating a beautiful focal point. The result is a beautiful card that embodies the tranquility and joy of the holiday season!

Hero Studio Changes

Faster Orders: New Subscribers will no longer have to wait until the following month to receive the first kit. Now receive the the same monthly design when you subscribe! The sign-up window will be open the 1st – 27th each month. Starting in December, the Monthly release will be available for purchase on the 1st of each month.

Charge Edit Window: Subscription charge day is moving to the 3rd of each month. Starting in December, the full reveals will happen on the 1st of each month, which means you will be able to make subscription changes prior to the charge date following the reveal.

Subscribers Come First: Non-subscribers will no longer be able to purchase the a la carte subscription products that are live within the Hero Studio month. Those designs will ONLY be available to active subscribers the first month. If there are any leftovers, they will be available for a la carte purchase to non-subscribers the following month.

Fulfillment Changes: Hero Arts is also making some fulfillment changes to help get orders out quicker and more efficiently. One of the main changes will be the Hero Studio Add-Ons will ship separately from the recurring Hero Studio orders. Subscribers will still receive Free Shipping on the add-ons for the first week.
