I’m starting with the beautiful Celebrate Background stamp, and I’ll show you how to use clear embossing ink and embossing powder to create a stunning resist effect. This is a great way to add texture and interest to your cards.
Next, I’m using the Lovely Layers Party Hat and Lovely Layers Party Blower dies to create a fun and festive card. I’ll demonstrate how to use embossing powder to add shine and dimension to your die cuts, and how to layer them up for a 3D effect. I’ll also share how to use embossing powder with your stencils!
If you’re new to heat embossing, don’t worry! I’ll walk you through the basics, from applying anti-static powder to melting the embossing powder with a heat tool. It’s easier than you think, and the results are so worth it.
I’m using a celebratory sentiment from the Big Bold Birthday stamps which are perfect for creating impact.
Finally, I’m adding a touch of bling with the Let’s Party Gem Stickers. These are the perfect finishing touch for my pom poms, and they add a lovely shine to my card. I just love how it turned out – the shine from the embossing powder, the different blues and mint colors… it’s just so pretty!
