Card Kit of the Month

This month’s Card Kit of the Month is a lovely collection of stamps, dies, and accessories to help you create adorable love-themed cards.

Although I didn’t create a card using the Card Kit of the Month, I’m excited to share a beautiful card I created using the January 2025 Fancy Dies of the Month: Floral Envelope.

To start, I die-cut the blooms, foliage, and envelope from different colors of cardstock. I then glued each of the blooms together, arranging them in the adorable envelope.

For my sentiment, I die-cut the word “love” from both black and pink cardstock. I layered the black cardstock on top of the pink, allowing the pink to peek through for a lovely contrast. I then added the sentiment to the bottom of the envelope, completing the design.

To finish the card, I used one of the layering dies from the January 2025 Layering Stencils of the Month: Layering Hearts. I placed the stencil over an A2-sized piece of white cardstock and ink-blended through the stencil using Cherry Core Ink. Finally, I added foam tape to the back of the envelope and popped it onto the card, creating a lovely dimensional effect.

Extras for the Month!

I also created a stunning card using one of the January Extraordinary Extras — the Lots of Love Stencil.

To create this beautiful card, I started by ink-blending Cotton Candy and Crimson Core ink through the Lots of Love Stencil. I used Cotton Candy towards the top and bottom, blending it into the Crimson in the middle. This created a stunning ombre effect.

Next, I trimmed the stenciled background to be slightly smaller than an A2 card and then die-cut a heart shape from the center. Using foam tape, I popped up the beautiful background on top of an A2-sized piece of Azalea cardstock.

To add a sweet sentiment, I stamped a message from the January 2025 Clear Set + Dies of the Month: Hello Love using Intensified Black Ink and die-cut it using the coordinating die. I popped the finished sentiment up in the center of the heart using foam tape. To add a playful touch, I used white and red clay hearts here and there on the finished card.
