Card One

Using the Classic Kit, I created a stunning card featuring a beautiful floral cake. I stamped the cake and cake tray with the Contour Ink Pad, then colored the images with alcohol markers and colored pencils. Contour Ink is perfect for no-line coloring. After die-cutting the images, I attached them to a piece of Antique Ivory cardstock, then added a lovely Passion Flower cardstock border. Such a pretty, soft look!

In addition to the My Monthly Hero Kits, each month Hero Arts introduces a collection of products which coordinate with the main theme of the release. You can see all of the available release items here.

Card Two

For my second card, I utilized add-on release items, including the Balloon Bunch Fancy Dies. I cut each balloon from different colored cardstock and added a 3D shiny effect with Clear Embossing Ink and layers of Clear Embossing Powder. I assembled the balloon bunch with Pitch Black cardstock, then attached it to a card base. For my sentiment I cut out part of the Hooray Birthday Cover Plate, highlighting the words “Happy” and “Birthday” with Dove White cardstock backing. I am in love with this shine!
