Fun and Festive Holiday Cards!
The Hero Arts 2024 Holiday Catalog is here, and I am thrilled to share two winter wonderland cards I created using some of the amazing new products! In this post, I’ll walk you through how I made each card, and I hope you’ll be inspired to create your own holiday masterpieces.

To create the background of this card, I used the Color Layering Snowflake Stencils with Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. I ink blended Orchid and Periwinkle Core Inks over the first three layering stencils for a soft, ombre effect. For the fourth layer, I applied Hero Paste and sprinkled Icicle Pure White Glitter on top while the paste was still wet – it’s like adding a pinch of magic to your card! The sentiment from the Joyful Christmas Messages Bundle bundle was heat embossed onto Nautical Cardstock and popped up with foam tape for a beautiful finish.

For this card, I started by stamping the Abstract Poinsettia Bold Prints in Granite Core Ink onto Luxe White Watercolor Paper. Then, I used Intens-ified Black Ink with the Merry Christmas Letterpress + Foil Plate to create a stunning, large sentiment in the center of the card. To add some extra shine, I applied Gold Hero Wax through one of the layers of the Color Layering Poinsettia Pattern Stencils. Finally, I trimmed the card panel down and added a 1/4” border using Cranberry Cardstock for a pop of color.
